Also, the campus includes a nursing school. a branch of this school is at Madhanur.
The place has a popular residential school named "Shiksha Kendra" which is one of the top schools in Vellore district.

Pallikonda has also very popular historical school known as "Little Flower Convent" run by Salesian Sisters. It serves to the poor and needy children from nearby villages giving free education from standard 1 to 5.

The town is well connected by road as it lies on the NH 46 of Bangalore-Chennai section which is part of the Golden Quadrilateral Highway Project. A State Highway connects to Gudiyattam town[10 KM]. The nearest railway station is Gudiyattam[6 KM] on Chennai-Bangalore and Chennai-Salem section of Southern Railway.

The town falls under Anaicut Assembly Constituency and Vellore Lok Sabha seat in Tamil Nadu
