This place is situated in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India, its geographical coordinates are 20° 42' 0" North, 75° 41' 0" East. This town is divided in 2 parts. Pahur Peth and Pahur Kasabe. The other parts like Lele Nagar and Khwaja Nagar are the newly developed hamlets. It has the temples of Rama, Shankar, Kewadeshwar in Peth side while Vitthal Temple is in Kasabe. The main railway station to reach at Pahur are Bhusaval and Jalgaon. Both these stations are at the same distance from Pahur i.e. 36 km. The river name is Waghur and it has one history as a long way back one tiger was came to Pahur through the river from Ajanta caves hills. So it is called as Waghur river. As in Marathi language Tiger is called as Wagh so peoples named the river as Waghur.

Taluka of Pahur is Jamner & it is 15 km away from the Pahur. In Pahur at every Sunday a big market is concluding and it is called as "BAZAAR" it is on weekly basis. From Pahur at 9 km in a village called as Wakod is situated where every Saturday a Market for selling Bullocks takes place. The main source of income for the people in Pahur is farming. The main crop taken here are Banana, Kapas (Cotton), Jawar, Wheat (Gehu) & Chillies. From Pahur is supplying all these things to different vegetable markets as Madhya Pradesh, Surat, Kalyan and Navi Mumbai and Mumbai too. The total population is about 15,000 (in year 2010).
