Geography

The village is located at equal distance of 55 km from two districts of Khushab and Chakwal. The Kalakahar lake Talagang is just 30 km away from this town. This is the last village of Khushab district moving from Sargodha-Khushab to Chakwal-Rawalpindi.

Most of Padhrar population is Sunni Muslim with a percentage of 80% while Shiite Muslims are 20% of the population respectivel

The people of the village are mainly connected with agriculture, Pakistan Army, poultry, government jobs and mining. Many people of the town contribute towards the economy of the country through the business of mining. This area is rich for high-quality coal, therefore the people of the town have invested heavily in this sector. This village has a historical graveyard of unknown age.
