2008/2009 "new build"

Orpington Campus has recently undergone a £26 million rebuild, which includes the construction of an additional site attached to the back of the college, a new student common room, and refurbishing of each of the buildings ten floors.

The main building work was finished ten weeks ahead of schedule. The new building was named "Ozone" after the College held a competition, which student Martin Baker won.

The official opening was 14 April, with the local mayor opening and Jason Donovan

was discovered in November 2008 during construction. This shelter would have housed Orpington residents from German bombing raids, and was buried when the Walnuts Shopping Centre was built.
