. In an interview Santino stated that he and Austin had been friends for years and the show was their idea.

In the first episode they traveled to Weatherford, Texas to make a dress for a rodeo trick rider, Sadie Lynn. As is typical of the show, they stayed in quarters unique to the area, rather than in a normal hotel or motel. In this case it was a building called the Texas Pythian Home that looked like a castle and was built in 1909 for widows and orphans. Also typical for the show, they buy their dress materials at a local store unique to the town they are in rather than a national chain store. In Weatherford, Austin went to Teskey's Saddle Shop for cowboy related accessories and Santino visited Gibson's Products, a general store, for their fabric.

There is always some interaction between Austin and/or Santino with the recipient or friends and family outside of their dress making quarters. For the Weatherford episode they both watched Sadie perform some horse riding tricks, and that night attended a bonfire with Sadie and her friends and family and fellow trick riders, known as the Cowgirl Chicks. The next day two of the Cowgirl Chicks showed Austin how to do some horse riding tricks and Santino went shopping with Sadie for new cowgirl boots at a store called Bootique.

Each show ends with Austin and Santino introducing their dress recipient to cheering attendees at the event it was created for. In the episodes so far these have been a birthday party, wedding, bachelorette party, graduation party, wedding anniversary party, and mother-daughter beauty pageant. In the case of Sadie Lynn, it was in a large dirt floor equestrian
