Geography

The municipality are made up of mountains covering the area with forests in the western and the central parts as well as grasslands. The eastern part are barren and unvegetated with Mount Olympus to the east. Kallithea is situated in a valley area, forests dominate much of the area, farmlands and groves dominate the valley areas as well as most of its hilly areas. Greece's tallest point, Mount Olympus
