Since 1981 Betowski has exhibited regularly and widely at many galleries throughout Britain including the Royal Academy

 and the National Portrait Gallery. He won the John Constable Landscape Prize, awarded at the Camden Annual at Camden Arts Centre in 1982 (3rd) and 1983 (2nd). He has also undertaken several large commissions throughout his career.

His work is in numerous private collections throughout the world.
