NewsX is India's first HDTV enabled channel. The presentation is minimalistic in its on-screen graphics and activity. The present colour scheme includes simple black backgrounds with yellow and white text.
On 9 January 2009, it was announced that NewsX had been purchased by Indi-Media Network, a partnership between the NaiDunia CEO Vinay Chhajlani and former Businessworld
