Show Choir

New Bedford High School also has a highly acclaimed mixed show choir "Pure Energy." They have won many amazing awards, the most recent being the 2009 Grand Champions at the New England Show Choir Classic. The group varies between 40 and 50 members and has also recieved special awards for their vocals and their overall show. The school is also the home of another award winning show choir "Charisma". This group is made up of only girls and consists of about 30 members. they have recently won silver at the New England Show Choir Classic and in the past have won Grand Champion in their division.
