. The population of Nachindi is about 3000. Most of the population work for the Pakistan Army and other defence-related departments.

Schools

There is the Government High School Nachinid for males and the Government High School for Girls for females. Some private schools have also been established since 2004.

Notable people

Brig Muhammad Akram (deceased) helped to develop the infrastructure of the village (electricity, water supply, sewage system, hospital, and roads) when he was serving in the army with Gen Zia ul Haq.
