. His strange name comes from a mistake made at Buffalo Mercy when a nurse mistakenly took the answer of "Nah Man" when his father was asked whether or not it was his son as the father proclaiming it was in fact his son Naaman.

. Roosevelt's 104 receptions was one short of the MAC Conference record at the time. Roosevelt graduated in 2009 and, the following season, Roosevelt caught 70 passes and 9 touchdowns.

Professional career

Roosevelt went undrafted in the 2010 NFL Draft. On April 24, Roosevelt signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills. Roosevelt was cut by the Bills on final cuts on September 4, 2010 but signed to their practice squad on September 5, 2010. On November 27, 2010, Roosevelt was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster. On October 16, 2011, Roosevelt caught his first pro TD pass on a 60 yard catch-and-run at MetLife Stadium against the Giants
