. It is a National Chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML). Their stated aims are given as:
  • reforming marijuana laws
  • providing information about cannabis
  • engaging in political action appropriate to our aims
  • informing people of their rights
  • giving advice and support to the victims of prohibition

NORML New Zealand publish the print and electronic quarterly magazine NORML News. Copies of the magazine were submitted to the Chief Censor in May 2010 by the Department of Internal Affairs for guidance on whether it should be censored.
