Location

The school coordinates are 18° 59' 49.58" S, 32° 37' 57.63" E and is at 1051m elevation. It is located in Chineta Road close to Mutare airport on the south western side of Sakubva high density township. At the school, across Chineta Road is Ellise Gladhill Secondary School. There is Rushingo Secondary School on the western side and across the stream on the north there is Chisamba Single section of Sakubva township. Access to the school is through Chineta Road.

Education System

The school has Grades 1-7 children mostly from within Sakubva township. They varies from six years old to about thirteen years old at grade seven. Students begin learning in Shona

taught as a subject, but transition to all reading and writing in English by Grade 3. The government curriculum is used with prescribed textbooks all in English. The seven years of primary school ends with the national four subject Grade 7 examinations in Mathematics, English, Shona or Ndebele and Content, which is a combination of sciences and social sciences.
