Mokal is a village 30 km west to Jaislmer in thar desert having a military medical hospital and one of the traditionalist old village comprising temple devoted to Dunger-Pir. This village is said to be on the name of prince Mokal, grandson to Rawal Jaisal of Jaisalmer.
