Prior to joining PartyGaming, he was CEO of Optimal Payments Inc, (Nasdaq) from 2002-2006, and held senior executive positions at Terra Payments Inc. (Toronto Stock Exchange) from 1999-2002.

He has spoken on gaming and the internet in the British House of Lords, and has given expert testimony in the Canadian Senate, assisting in the shaping of gaming policy in Canada. .

He has worked and lived in a number of countries. He and his wife Anne-Marie Boucher, a tax attorney, and their two sons, live in Montreal, Canada, and are active in philanthropy in Israel, Russia, the United Kingdom and Canada.
