  • The exercise of the generic functions of the ministerial post, foreseen on articles 12 and 13 of the Law 6/1997, of Organization and Functioning of the General Administration of the State, and on article 4 of the Law 50/1997, of the Government.

Under the Minister there are the following units:
  • The Secretariat of the Presidency.
  • The Direction of the Cabinet of the First Vice-president of the Government.
  • The Direction of Communication.
  • The Secretariat of State of Relations with the Spanish Parliament.
