In May 1982, Mikael, at that time his name was written as Michael, released on Polar Music his first 7" single — "Gå tillbaks till gå

Mikael kept on recording and touring with various Swedish artists such as: Tomas Ledin, Pugh Rogefeldt, Lustans Lakejer and Robert Wells. "I always enjoyed the studio work" Mikael says.

Thus, in 1982, Mikael Bolyos participated in the recording of the "C´est la vie" single by the Swedish rock musician Janne Goldman. Mikael played the keyboards in the said single.

The same year Mikael took part in the recording of the "Kärleken Är Som En Studsande Boll" single by Tomas Ledin. Together with Ledin, Mikael played the keyboards in the said single. The single was included on Gränslös album that Tomas Ledin released the same year.

In 1982, Tomas Ledin also released his album The human touch where Mikael played the keyboards on all 10 tracks.

In 1983, Mikael appeared with Agnetha Fältskog

In November 1983 Totte Wallin released his single Jag hatar mitt jobb where Mikael Bolyos also played the keyboards.

In January 1984, Mikael took part in recording of the Barbariets eleganter LP

 by another Swedish music band Eldkvarn. He played the piano on two songs: "Mitt i hjärtat" and "I natt".

In July 1984, Mikael Bolyos released his second 7" single — "Aldri Mer", the b-side was "Jag tycker om dej". The song was recorded in 1983 on Polar Music and the song became little of a radio hit. Jonas Isacsson played the guitar.

The same year Micke played the grand piano in the Lustavision album released by the Swedish band Lustans Lakejer. Here, Bolyos took part in recording of "If only for a moment", the closing track of the album.

In 1984, Bolyos played the keaboards on the Tropicana record released by the Swedish band Kicks.

Mikael Bolyos together with Göran Rydh and Lasse Johnsson created a trio called Spargo. Together they released their first 7" single "Du finns i mig" with "Ge mig en chans" on b-side on Polar Music in November 1984. Both songs were written by Bolyos.

As there was a Dutch band called Spargo, the boys had to change the name for Zpargo. The trio released their second 7" single in May 1985. The a-side was "Bara en på tusen" with "Känner du" on b-side of the single.

The same year, Mikael took part in the recording of the album Ögon man aldrig glömmer released by Swedish female singer Susanne Alfvengren.

In 1985, the Swedish band Kicks released their LP Erotik & panik. Mikael Bolyos played the keaboards on the lead track.
