Middle Wallop is the local name given to an area between the two Parishes of Over Wallop
and Nether Wallop
in Hampshire
, England
. As it does not have its own parish technically it does not exist, however road signs and maps make reference to the location and have done so since the 18th century, but visitors to Middle Wallop see no signage to advise them of their arrival. The main crossroads between the two parishes is the area normally referred to as Middle Wallop. Here you will find a public house, The George Inn, a petrol station as well as The Wallops Parish Hall.
Nether Wallop is home to a small primary school, The Five Bells Public House and a couple of small shops, a village hall and St Andrews Church. Over Wallop also has a church, St Peters, a post office and a small village shop and the White Hart Public House.
Together the two villages and the area referred to as Middle Wallop are known as the Wallops and run in a line roughly North to South following the line of the Wallop Brook which has its source in Over Wallop. Residents living in the Wallops are known as 'Wallopers'. To the East of the villages the area is dominated by the Middle Wallop airfield
