 and signed a two year deal with Sussex at the end of the 2007 season after scoring 800 runs in the Second XI Championship. He was released from the club following the conclusion of the 2009/2010 season. In the 2011 season he began playing for Somerset 2nd XI with a view to establishing himself in the squad.
