Mettler-Toledo Inc.

Mettler-Toledo Inc. is the company’s North American weighing division. This division has three different business markets. These are:

Laboratory – products for this market include precision weighing equipment and analytical instruments. Including, but not limited to precision balances, analytical balances, micro balances (ranging to weights of .0000001 grams), moisture balances, automatic titration systems (standard and Karl Fischer), pH meters, conductivity meters, refractivity meters, density meters, and materials characterization instrumentation
Differential scanning calorimetry
Differential scanning calorimetry or DSC is a thermoanalytical technique in which the difference in the amount of heat required to increase the temperature of a sample and reference is measured as a function of temperature. Both the sample and reference are maintained at nearly the same temperature...

.

Industrial – products for this market include floor scales, bench scales, counting scales, in-motion check weighing scales, vehicle scales, and weigh modules for tank and hopper conversions. They also provide equipment for hazardous areas. This group also sells Statistical Quality Control software, formulation software, vehicle scale software, and batching systems. Their line of weighing terminals provides a broad range of functionality and connectivity (to PLCs) options.

Retail – this division provides scales for the food retail industry. These range from counter service scales for the deli and meat counters, labeling scales for a meat room, and full service wrapping and labeling machines.

Each of these divisions has a direct service operation for providing service and maintenance to the scales they sell.
