The Square joins East and West Main Streets, as well as Church Street and School Street. There is a concrete island in the center of the roadway, into which a flagpole is embedded. The town offices, located at the entrance to School Street, were recently renovated and the town museum, previously on the second story, was moved down the street to another building. The two banks, one of them in a building dating back to the eighteen hundreds, are located at the entrance to West Main Street. The police and fire station are located near the entrance to East Main Street.
