Although most popular for his guitar interpretation, such as "Canon Rock" and "Vive le Vent d'Hiver", Rachmajda also plays drums and bass. In an interview with the French news channel Canal+

. For his sixth Christmas, he received his first electric guitar, a Jim Harley. Shortly afterwards, he started taking lessons from a music professor, learning classical guitar and music theory. He studied under this teacher for nine years.

In February 2003, he joined his family's musical band. From 2004 through 2007, he gave multiple concerts and shows throughout the Nord-Pas-de-Calais, playing remixes and compositions.

In July 2006, aged fifteen, he interpreted Canon Rock, a neoclassical arrangement of Pachelbel's Canon by JerryC

In August 2006, MattRach released a CD of solo compositions, "MattRach", using digital downloading platforms. To focus on his musical career, he dropped out of school in the 12th grade. In May 2010, his band, MattRach & Play, released their first album, "Mister Jack".
