Mark Kelly is the keyboardist

He joined the band in 1981, replacing previous keyboardist Brian Jelliman, and as of 2011 is still a member of the band. He previously played in the progressive

band Chemical Alice who released their EP
Curiouser and Curiouser in 1981. Kelly has appeared on every Marillion studio album
He also appeared on John Wesley
's album Under the Red and White Sky in 1994 and on Jump's album Myth of Independence in 1995 on production

Kelly lives in Oxfordshire
with longtime partner Angie Moxham (the founder of the public relations company, 3 Monkeys Communications); and their three children Tallulah, Delilah and Jude. Kelly is also the father of Freya and Kai from a previous marriage.
He is a director of the Featured Artists Coalition.
