Mark Freiman

Mark Freiman is a lawyer, public servant and former president of the Canadian Jewish Congress

Freiman earned his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Toronto in 1969 and a PhD from Stanford University
in 1977. He graduated from the University of Toronto Law School in 1983 and was called to the bar in 1985. He was elected president of the Canadian Jewish Congress in 2009 and served until the organization's dissolution in 2011.
