 dedicated to the preservation of handcrafts. It was part of The Crafts Guild of Manitoba until 1997.

The museum started in the 1930s after the establishment of The Canadian Handicrafts Guild, Manitoba Branch (later The Crafts Guild of Manitoba) in 1928.

The library started in the 1930s and originally held resources for teaching basic skills such as knitting
