Facilities consisted of a 67.1 metre long platform and a shelter shed. The shelter shed was not located on the platform, instead being located between the platform and the level crossing.

Madurta was closed in 1987 when suburban rail services to Bridgewater line ceased. Both the platform and shelter shed have since been demolished.
