MacEwan Centre for Sport and Wellness

MacEwan Sport and Wellness is part of Grant MacEwan University's City Centre Campus. Construction began on this campus in 1991. In May 1993, MacEwan Sport and Wellness was one of the first buildings on MacEwan's City Centre Campus to open its doors to students. One month later, the MacEwan Sport and Wellness facility opened to the public.

In September 2009, the building was renamed as the Christenson Family Centre for Sport and Wellness after the university received a donation from the Christenson Family.

The centre houses a 2,000 seat multi-purpose sports facility located in Edmonton
