n rugby union player. Lucky is a talented winger who plays his rugby in New Zealand. Lucky made his provincial debut in 2003 for Nelson Bays against Manawatu. His position is winger.

Nelson Bays

In 2003 Lucky Mulipola was introduced to NPC level rugby when he got the chance to play against Manawatu. Although he only got to play three seasons for the union, he managed to score 97 points.

Tasman

In 2006 because of the amalgamation of the Nelson Bays and Marbarough rugby unions Lucky Mulipola was shown the higher grade of rugby in the Air New Zealand Cup. Lucky played for the Tasman Makos in the 2006, awarded with 9 appearances (scoring two tries) but he missed the 2007 competition because of injury.

Highlanders

Lucky Mulipola was a member of the Highlanders franchise between 2007-2008. In his debut season for the highlanders he managed to score two tries, His best performance for the side was against the Waikato Chiefs in Queenstown when he stood up Roy Kinikinilau

 and then outpaced him to the corner, then minutes later he outjumped the former Highlander and sent Anton Oliver

 in for a five-pointer. Lucky is back for the Highlanders 2008 super 14 season starting in February.

Otago

After two seasons with the Tasman Makos Mulipola decided to play his provincial rugby for Otago. The choice came after a great season for the Highlanders, liking it so much that he decided he would play his 2008 Air New Zealand Cup season for Otago. In September 2009 while still on contract to Otago, Mulipola was loaned out to Tasman for the remainder of the 2009 Air New Zealand Cup.
