The game will feature an online mode again for players wishing to compete with other challengers worldwide. It may also be compatible with motion controllers, PlayStation Move and Xbox Kinect. Additionally, it is hinted that the PlayStation 3 version could also be available to play in stereoscopic 3D.

Disciplines

There is no word yet as to exactly what kind of events or indeed, sporting disciplines will appear on the game, though a press release confirmed that there will be at least 30 events to choose from. It is likely that disciplines such as athletics, swimming, gymnastics and weightlifting will prominently feature again with maybe a few new additions.
