It has enough farm land and farming is the major profession. Though people are constantly innovating in this field. Most people prefer to cultivate vegetables and fruits which are marketed to the local market.

Lodipur has potential for industrial development as it is directly connected to the main route to Gaya. Any such initiative would be a welcome move and this village is waiting for such proposals.
