Boundary changes

The Boundary Commission for England has recommended that the county should in future be
divided into 12 constituencies. This is based on the calculation of an electorate of 823,470 divided by the 2000 electoral quota of 69,934, giving a theoretical entitlement of 11.77 seats. Therefore the Central Devon CC has been proposed.

These changes will be implemented at the United Kingdom general election, 2010.
