Gonzalez worked at KTLA 5 from March 2006 to July 2007, after which she returned to Miami and began working with CBS4 and My 33. While at KTLA in Los Angeles, Gonzalez was active with the community. She served as the host in events such as the annual Breath California awards ceremony and compered the National Latin Business Women's Association of Orange County's annual awards ceremony. She has also volunteered at KTLA events like the KTLA Toys for the Holidays and KTLA Kids' Day.

Gonzalez continues to sing professionally. She has stated that her favorite song is "At Last". Other than singing, her hobbies include dancing, hiking, jogging, rollerblading and going to the movies.
