 from Trondheim, Norway. She has been riding a snowboard for most of her life, but she only started competing at the age of 15. When she is not on her snowboard, she likes to spend time with her friends and family, and often updates her twitter profile.

 for the halfpipe events. She crashed during both of her runs and only got a score of 11.5 and 12.8, placing her in 27th place out of 30. She did not qualify for the semifinals.

Regardless, Haug has said she enjoyed her experience while in Vancouver.
