In 2005, Berlin's Gibson Black ES-335 caught on fire at Los Angeles Club The Troubadour during a raucous sold out performance that stopped the show mid set. In 2009, Berlin released the controversial book "Postmortem Bliss" which chronicles teen prescription drug abuse in the late 90's.
