Letohatchee is located just south of Montgomery. It is located in Lowndes County. Letohatchee has largely uninhabited land full of pastures and uncut woods. Its area is estimated at 18 miles long across.

Population

Letohatchee has a very small population, with inhabitants only estimated at between 200-300 citizens. The population is mostly African Americans and Caucasians. 50% Blacks 30% white 10% other;

Industry

Letohatchee has two industrial plants, four convenience stores and two restaurant/cattle yards and a post office.
