A small tree, up to 15 metres tall and a stem diameter of 40 cm. The trunk is grey and smooth sometimes with horizontal raised rings. The tree's base is usually flanged. Yellow to orange flowers form from September to October. The fruit is a smooth orange capsule, maturing around December.
