 allowing motorized boating, Lake Meridian is an urban lake, surrounded by homes and located just off the Kent-Kangely road on Kent's East Hill.

Fed primarily by fresh water springs at the west end of the lake, Lake Meridian empties at the east end of the lake into a small stream that eventually connects to the Little Soos Creek, which in turn eventually feeds into the larger Green River

 via a number of other streams and eventually ends up in Elliot Bay. Lake Meridian is a recreation area offering fishing, boating, canoeing and a variety of water sports. Patrolled in the summer months by the Kent Police Department boat cruisers, Lake Meridian is part of the City of Kent's Lake Meridian Park, which is visited by thousands each Summer season.

Lake Meridian features one large covered shelter, divided into four areas, large playfield, restrooms, swimming beach, fishing, and boat launch. Park capacity is 120 people.

Directions
From I-5
Take the Kent/Des Moines exit and drive east down Kent/
Des Moines Road to Meeker Street. Turn left (east) onto
Meeker Street. Drive east on Meeker Street to Smith
Street. Drive on Smith Street east up the hill. Stay to
the right after crossing the Benson Road (104th Avenue
SE) intersection. The road becomes Kent-Kangley Road.
Follow Kent-Kangley east toward Covington. Lake Meridian
Park entrance is on the left (north) side of the road.

From Kent
Drive on Smith Street east up the hill. Stay to the
right after going through the Benson Road (104th
Avenue SE) intersection. The road becomes Kent-
Kangley Road. Follow Kent-Kangley Road east
toward Covington. Lake Meridian Park entrance
is on the left (north) side of the road.
