Health Facilities:
Although the population of Kot Radha Kishan is around 0.1 million, it lacks proper basic healthcare facilities. There is a public hospital "Rural Health Centre" that has two medical officers, a dental technician and around six paramedics. This hospital was granted the status of "Tehsil Head-quarter Hospital by the Punjab Government but no up-gradation of persisting facilities has been taken place.
Various small private hospitals are also set up in this town but these hospitals also lack qualified nursing and paramedical staff. Noor Hospital is one of the biggest in private sector hospitals with around 30 beds. A dozen of consultants with different specialities also visit this hospital from Lahore. But surprisingly, this hospital has only one qualified nurse. All other nursing staff is unqualified and untrained. There is an operation theatre and a delivery room in this hospital. But, the anaesthetist is not passed even the matriculation. This hospital claims to have an Emergency ward but almost every serious patient is referred to Lahore due to inability of the hospital staff to deal with these cases. Many different kinds of serious incidents had happened due to the negligence and brutality of hospital staff. In the recent past, the administrator of hospital had to face court of law due to negligence in the care of a mother who died during labour.

Educational Facilities: The standard of Education in Kot Radha Kishan is relatively better as compared to healthcare facilities. In the public sector, there are two primary schools each for boys and girls, one middle school for girls and two separate high schools for boys and girls. There are two degree colleges, one for boys and the other one for girls. These colleges provide education for intermediate and degree levels. A good choice of subjects is available for students. Recently, a modern library has been built in the degree college for girls. It is hoped that this library will meet up the increasing demands of students for study of books and literature.
Government High Schools have produced an enormous number of talented students in the past.
Government schools are providing a larger share of education. These schools lack basic facilities, like class room, computer labs and prper science laboratories. However, even in these circumstances, these schools have shown impressive results as compared to the private schools.

A greater proportion of education facilities is being provided by private sector. However, there are some schools that are providing reasonably good quality education. Little Angel's School is one of the oldest school in private sector. This school has provided cost-effective quality education to the people of Kot Radha Kishan.
  • The Learning School, Kot Radha Kishen (Kasur) was established in 2002 by a group of local citizens. The aim of this school was to provide quality education to the people of Kot Radha Kishan and surrounding areas that it is achieving through quality education. The standard of this school can be measured through its matriculate results that can be found at its website. School staff is highly qualified and if we compare the fee structure it is nothing. Fee is being collected only to pay the salary of the staff and utility bills. If still any income generate, that is being utilized for the development of the campus such like its boundary wall, equipment for the students etc. All its funds details are available at its website.

Some individuals those want to play their negative role in the name of education for their personal benefits and in the name of academies, playing with the innocent parents. Several other mushroom schools are also being run buy unqualified but rich persons those have aim to earn the money.

In the summer of 2011, students from Aitchsion College, lahore initiated a project for the sustainable provision of energy. They distributed Soda bottles filled with water and bleach, which emitted light equivalent to a 50-watt light bulb. Bleach served to kill micro-organisms in the water while the water was used to refract the light. Two such bottles can light up a house in the village. The idea gained immense popularity with the villagers and spread rapidly across the entire village.
