Klaus Wagner is a German doctor widely known as a stalker
of members of the British Royal Family
, in particular Diana, Princess of Wales
.
Dr Wagner studied medicine at Heidelberg University and was qualified to practise as medical doctor in Germany and the United Kingdom. During his career he practised as senior house officer in English and German hospitals and later as general practitioner.
In 1994, Wagner was on remand
in an English prison for what he claimed were falsified drug and deception charges when he came up with a highly personal interpretation of the Biblical
book of Revelation
. On 13 October 1995 he was released immediately after a hearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court where he was represented by the celebrity barrister
Dr von Pommern-Peglow.

In a subsequent interview with the Daily Mirror he stated in relation to the princess "You are the only hope for this country. The war of the establishment against you has reached a new stage."
