Admissions

The School provides education for boys and girls aged between 4 and 16.

Ages 4 to 11 are taught in the separate Junior School, and up to GCSE at 16 in the senior school, with its traditional house structure.

History

Kirkstone House School was established in January 1964 by the Principal, Mrs B K Wyman as a Nursery School with just four pupils.

Continued parental demand for independent provision with small class sizes led to gradual expansion to cover the years up to GCSE.
