KLICE's activities include research, publication, collaborative projects, and running conferences and seminars. KLICE states that its vision is "to contribute a Christian perspective to public debates about ethics in the UK."

Three times a year KLICE publishes articles on various ethical subjects under the name Ethics in Brief.

KLICE's first Director, Dr. Jonathan Chaplin, was appointed in September 2006. In September 2010 Dr. Joshua Hordern was appointed as KLICE's first Associate Director.
