. It is on the western coast of the district of Knapdale

Close by the small village is the popular Port Ban Caravan Park http://www.portban.com which provides both caravans for rent during holiday seasons and plots for privately owned caravans along with a large camping field. The caravan park provides amazing views of the islands Jura and Islay and the surrounding area. Though it is not in the village itself the postal address is "Kilberry" and therefore is technically part of the village. In the Village there is an art gallery which is open through the summer. It shows work from local artists and craftsmen including Richard Kennedy woodturnings. There is also a Kilberry village in Navan, County Meath, Ireland
