He now directs the British First Party.

 on 1 December 2007 when it was claimed that Quinn abused ethnic minority passers-by from a British First Party table that he had set up in the area. In September 2008, the jury failed to agree on a verdict in his first trial at St Albans Crown Court. He was convicted of the same charge and given a six month suspended prison sentence at his second trial held at St Albans Crown Court in April 2009.
