 was said as one of the least barangays of Calamba City having agricultural lands.

Geography

Barangay Kay-Anlog was found at the western portion of city of Calamba. It belongs to what they called "upland barangays". This barangay was one of the largest (land mass) barangay in Calamba. Barangay Kay-anlog is bordered by barangay Makiling and barangay Tulo to the east; barangay Ulango to the south; barangay Punta to the north; the barangays of Bubuyan and Burol to the west; and barangay Laurel to the south. All said bordered barangay are in Calamba City excluding barangay Laurel that is in Tanauan City

Kay-Anlog has subdivided into 4 puroks(zones). These are:

  • purok uno(zone one) or kanluran(west);
  • purok dos(zone two) or gitna(middle);
  • purok tres(zone three) or silangan(east) and;
  • purok kwatro(zone four) or pasong diablo

History

The name of the barangay was came from the person said to be the first person who lived in Buwisan(the former name of Kay-anlog and other adjacent barangay) named Bayag ni Anlog(no one knew his real name). He originarily lived in barangay Ulango, Tanauan. Anlog was the caretaker of the lands of Buwisan(because Buwisan was a purely agricultural lands of the rich peoples). Just to give an honor to Anlog, a part of Buwisan was named after him, and this is Bayag Kay-Anlog.

Education

Kay-Anlog has four educational institutions. These are: Kay-Anlog Day Care Center, Kay-Anlog Elementary School, Southville 6 Elementary School and the Immanuel International Theological Center.

Religion

Most of the inhabitants of Kay-Anlog are Roman Catholics and a small number of Born again Christians. Because of huge number of Catholics, like in other places in Philippines, they are also celebrating fiesta

Suffrage

Like in other barangays in the Philippines, the people in Kay-Anlog practice their right to vote. The people vote the candidate the want to be their leader.

Barangay and SK Elections

The people vote for the persons they want to lead their barangay. The adults vote their chairman and its councilors while the younger ones (ages 15-17) vote for their SK
