Kahe Naa Kahe was an India

. The soap was not intended to last any longer than it had aired for (it was more of an experiment) since it was just a special way of introducing the new channel 9X
. Kahe Naa Kahe is a refreshing story of a small-town, ordinary girl named Kinjal with extraordinary dreams.
Like other girls her age, Kinjal dreams of love and marriage, but with a big difference. Kinjal’s progressive mother Urmila is aware of her daughter’s dreams, and gives Kinjal her unending support. Kinjal has four brothers, and a father who thinks that while his four sons can do no good, his daughter can do no wrong, even though she is in the midst of the preparations for her 20th wedding! All her weddings were cancelled due to some reasons or the others.
Kinjal's father believes that big cities brings only spoilt people and so he is against any of his sons or Kinjal to work in a big town as Mumbai! But when faced with income problems, Kinjal goes against his wishes and starts working in a marriage bureau. Her father is unaware of this. Kinjal's best friend is Neena who is a model. Despite having different dreams and ambitions Kinjal and Neena are best friends and they hold on their friendship tightly. Kanav is the son of a big businessman who is very arrogant. Kanav though hates his father from the bottom of his heart and does everything with his own work and soon becomes very rich. The reason because Kanav hates his father is because he married his mother's sister and is really not a nice person. Kinjal's father comes to know that Kinjal is working, he gets angry on her but later everyone convinces him and he agrees with much difficulty. On the other hand, Neena meets Kanav and starts to fall in love with him though Kanav doesn't like her.
Kanav and Kinjal meet and has frequent unpleasant moments and starts to hate each other. But destiny has made Kinjal for Kanav and they accidentally get married though they still don't know they are married (when Kanav ends up putting vermillion on Kinjal accidentally and when he and Kinjal are walking round the lori fire even though they don't know they end up taking pheres).
But what will happen when Neena come to know her best friend married her love? Will she know the entire truth or will she misunderstand her? Above all will Kinjal and Kanav fall in love?
Ekta’s talented and beautiful young find is Krystle D’Souza, and she plays the lead role of Kinjal. Newcomer Krystle D’Souza is extremely excited about playing this lead role with one of the biggest production houses of Indian television drama and on the most exciting and eagerly awaited Hindi GEC, 9X. All of 17 years old, Krystle says, “Playing the lead role in a Balaji show which will be aired on 9X at prime time is like a dream come true! Every teenager dreams of making it big one day, but I did not realize my time would come so soon.”

Urmila (Kinjal’s mother) - A mother that any young girl would love to have, Urmila is a perfect blend of traditions and modernity. She keeps herself in tune to the modern world, while simultaneously respecting her husband’s traditional and old school of thoughts. A typical mother, she loves to gossip and is a housewife cum working mom.
Neena - One of Kinjal closest aids and confidants, they are close buddies. An aspiring model, Neena is
looking for instant fame and success, making it big in the world of glamour. She is wants to get
married to a wealthy man in order to fulfill all her dreams and aspirations.
Kanav - The only child to his parents, Kanav is a spoilt brat. Brought up with golden spoon in his mouth, his aspirations are only to mint more and more money. A great business man he utilizes all his time and energy to make money. Though he despises his dad, he has a great relationship with his mother and will do anything to keep her happy.

Kahe Naa Kahe is an engrossing drama series created by none other than the Czarina of prime-time television, Ekta Kapoor.
