Kafr Qara or Kafr Qari () is an Israeli-Arab local council located in Israel's Haifa District 22mi southeast of the city of Haifa. It is considered part of the the triangle and the Wadi Ara region northwest of the Green Line. It is a conservative community in which most of the 14,800 inhabitants are Muslim. A small percentage of Kafr Qara's land was allocated for public services and military purposes by the government.
