) as KBRA, later on evolved to Adult Contemporary around 1982, it was briefly known as "KB-98". A few years later the call letters changed to KLZS but maintained the Adult Contemporary format. Around the mid to late 80's KLZS evolved into a NAC/Smooth Jazz

format as "Magic 98" giving Wichita its first Smooth Jazz station at the time. KLZS changed ownership in 1989, it went into a stunt mode playing a variety of songs for about a week, then flipped back to its present format and a call letter change to KRBB.
