KO's system originates east of Lexington, Kentucky

 and extends northward for approximately ninety miles to the citygates of two local distribution companies: Duke Energy Ohio (DEO) and Duke Energy Kentucky (DEK). Two upstream pipelines interconnect with KO: Columbia Gulf Transmission
