History

Metalac Basketball Club was established 24/03/1948 and when it held its first conference at which the election is decided to switch teams in league competition. The club was founded under the name KK Buducnost, and the first official game played in the same year against KK Borac Cacak and lost by a score of 69:19. In a relatively short time the club managed to enter the competition to a higher rank.
In the southern group of the Serbian league club called KK Metalac enters the 1954th as a team unbeaten in the Belgrade area. For BC Metalac then played Ljubisav Brankovic, Slobodan Petrovic, Bratislav Budimirović, Elijah Sreckovic Miloje Orlovic Mica, Miroslav Bata Jovanovic, Nikoljsko, Soskic, Slobodan Jevtic, Trifunovic, Nedeljko Pavlovic, Luke Stancic. KK Metalac played six first league season. In season 2001-02, under the name KK Metalac future holds last place and moved to the First Serbian League.
