KJTV (as KSEL 950 1,000 watts Day, 500 watts Night) was the second radio station established in Lubbock, signing on in 1946. KCBD 1590 was third in 1949 and KFYO was the first, established in 1926, then moving to Lubbock in 1932.
In 2010, Ramar Communications purchased FM Translator K264AN (100.7 FM) and began simulcasting FOX Talk 950, as permitted under new FCC rules passed in 2009.
